Samsung's 2008 flagship phone has Soul

Today, mobile phone giant Samsung announced its 2008 flagship device – Soul, an abbreviation of The Spirit of Ultra, is part of the slim Ultra series of handsets, combining features and style in one sleek, compact package. The Soul will debut next week, at the Mobile World Congress, to be held in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung are set to heavily push the Soul, with a big advertising campaign. The Soul is schedule to be launched in European countries, sometime in April.

The Soul is set to offer different sets of Graphical User Interfaces, with up to three different options for users. Thanks to the Soul's Thematic User Interface, users can change it, in accordance to their own, personal taste. Users can also make their own skins for the Soul, with the on-board User Created Skin application.

Much like the rest of Samsung's Ultra Series, the Soul is encased in a slim, full metlic body. Also, the same is true of the handsets thinness, continuing the thin trend, at a petite 12.9mm thin. One of the centerpieces of the U900 is its Magical Touch DaCP pad which changes its navigation indicators on the phone change according to the user’s needs. Below is the Soul's feature set:
